Australia qualified for the World CUP Germany 2006, after a dramatic night in front of 82,000 fans at Telstra stadium, Sydney. Marco Bresciano's goal cancelled uruguay's lead in the first leg. Mark Schwartzer superbly saved 2 penalties while John Aloisi slotted the winner coolly. this blog chronicles the adventure for the Socceroos on the quest for World Cup glory.
20060605 Some of the Dutch stars gave a fair assestment of how far the Socceroos could go, and possibly surprise some of hte more fancied teams.
